JOSH COOMBES

Josh Coombes has lived in Cornwall all his life and has spent a large proportion of it in the sea at Watergate Bay – he’s been surfing since he was 6. Now 18, he took up kitesurfing seriously 3 years ago, and his progress in the sport has been astonishing – he’s now a qualified instructor here at The Extreme Academy, he’s competing in BKSA Wave Rider events and he’s a member of the prestigious Flexifoil Wave Riding team.

You may question Josh’s taste in wetsuits (he’s been known to wear a salmon pink one), but you never question this accomplished young man’s commitment to his sport – he lives to kitesurf, and he’s got a big future ahead of him.
