Saturday 25 January
Beach Hut Burns’ Night

We’re going Scottish, celebrating the life of Robert Burns – the bard behind Auld Lang Syne. We’ll be setting fire to the haggis in the true Scots tradition and serving it with neeps and tatties, salmon with potato cakes and sour cream, Scottish Cranachan and whisky cocktails. The restaurant will be banquette style for your three courses, and there’ll be a real Scots piper around the bonfire on the beach. Bring on the tartan, take in some poetry and dream of Scotland. Don’t forget your kilt and sporran. Wha Hae!

£25 per person.

Doors open at 7pm.

Friday 7 February
It’s summer somewhere

February. It’s got to be summer somewhere, right? That’s all we need to know to throw our ‘Summer Somewhere’ barbecue – an evening event  with hay bale seating and a little Caribbean flava. Drawing on his experience as a chef in Barbados, our executive chef Neil Haydock is cooking fresh fish and barbecued jerk chicken with rice, peas and other Caribbean classics. Get into the sunshine spirit with Tequila Sunrise and Pina Colada cocktails. A bonfire on the beach will provide the heat, with live music, steel drums and limbo likely to make you forget it’s still winter.

£25 per person.

Doors open at 7pm.

Friday 14 February

You can stare at the views as well as each other with a Valentine’s dinner at The Beach Hut. On the specials board will be dishes for sharing such as a double rib of beef with béarnaise and sweet potato fries, spatchcock free range chicken with winter panzanella, and a whole sea bass with sag alloo. Hearty food you’ll love.

The regular Beach Hut menu will also be available.

Friday 21 March – SOLD OUT
An evening with Harbour Brewing Company

Taste the country’s finest ales while the boys from the Harbour Brewing Company share some ale tales. They’re inviting a selection brewers to show-off their favourite ales, all served with a five course taster menu designed to complement each ale.

Expect dishes like fish taco’s, chicken sliders with picked slaw, pulled cumin roasted pork belly and roasted onion pitta and pecan pie brownie. All washed down with cucumber and mint saison, Limoncello IPA, mango and chilli pale ale and Jamaican ginger stout, just to name a few. Seating will be hay bales, theatre style, and when the tasting’s all done, live acoustic music will provide the fun. A bonfire on the beach will keep you cosy.

£25 per person
Doors open at 7pm.

Sunday 30 March
Mother’s Day

Get Mum to the beach on Mother’s Day. As well as The Beach Hut roast we’ll be serving specials for special mums, including lots of fish and shellfish. There’ll be tempting desserts not to mention a super selection of wines. All this and more without your mum lifting a finger.
