Restaurant manager – Zacry’s
We have a fantastic opportunity for a restaurant manager to join the team at Zacry’s – the new restaurant at Watergate Bay. The style of the restaurant combines Cornish attitude with a classic brasserie, while the food draws on international influences, local inspiration and executive chef, Neil Haydock’s passion for contemporary American cuisine. Zacry’s is not just a place to eat, it’s a place to unwind with a unique energy and buzz around food.
Reporting to the food & beverage manager, you will be managing a restaurant with a turnover of £1.2 million annually. You will be a key player in a large and ever evolving food and beverage operation of £4 million per year. You will bring plenty of industry experience and strong leadership skills to the role and your warm and professional personality will fit perfectly with our culture of “relaxed professionalism”. As well as managing breakfast for our guests and delivering an unrivalled dining experience, you will work closely with our executive and head chef to express our passion for food in a beachside location.

What you would be doing on a weekly basis
Working with the general manager, executive chef and food & beverage manager to improve all aspects of our food service.
Ensuring all sales and wages budgets are achieved.
Managing the ongoing training, development and performance management of a team of twenty two.
Working to exceed guest expectations by managing Zacry’s in a relaxed but professional manner.
Overseeing all ordering and deliveries to ensure good stock control and minimal wastage.
Ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
Promoting and leading a culture of continual professional development.
