Working with the Cornwall Sports Partnership, on Friday, fully qualified coaches will give 200 local children a unique day out at Watergate Bay: both disabled and able bodied young people of secondary school age will be able to experience taster sessions of rugby, volleyball, surfing and lifeguard skills.

On Saturday, there will be a packed schedule of beach activities for younger children - 2008 saw a rockpool roadshow from Newquay’s Blue Reef Aquarium; dance workshops; face painting; and skydivers from the Cornwall Parachute Club.
