We took a moment to catch up with Anthony Waller from SALT and asked her to talk us through what to expect…

We can’t guarantee the weather in Cornwall, we all know that much, but for those of us living and working in Cornwall, we know we can guarantee visitors, and for that matter residents, a great time and that, we hope, is what SALT will do.

SALT 2013 is a festival of landscape and dance, and something completely different, where else will you see dancing along a cycle trail? But what does a festival of landscape and dance really mean? We’re here to celebrate our glorious part of the world through one of the only ways we really know how – dance! We all do it, move that is – admittedly some of us more than others – but we all fundamentally move and here’s the thing, when we watch it, we just feel good about the world. Whether you are a dance aficionado or someone who has never seen a dance performance outside of your relatives at a family wedding, we think that SALT will offer something for everyone.
