Amaretto Sour cocktail

Amaretto is a sweet, almond-flavoured liqueur, made from a base of apricots, almonds or sometimes both.

The amaretto sour is a classic cocktail, but most people don’t know that the original recipe calls for raw egg whites. Being sticklers for tradition we use egg whites in our mix but you can always leave this ingredient out.



Makes one
70ml Amaretto
35ml lemon juice
Dash of angostura Bitters
1 egg white

Glass: Martini


Add all the ingredients to a Boston shaker and shake.

Double strain into your glass and enjoy!
