Due to forecasted severe weather conditions, specifically high winds, Boardmasters 2019 has been cancelled. Please find more details online at www.boardmasters.com
From 7 - 11 August, along the cliff path from Watergate Bay, you'll find the UK's biggest surf and music festival.
Boardmasters is back for 2019 and bigger than ever.
Last year saw Catfish and the Bottlemen, George Ezra and The Chemical Brothers take to the stage.
This year, a full to the brim line-up of acts has been announced for the four day festival. Overlooking Watergate Bay beach, you'll be able to find headliners; Wu-Tang Clan, Florence and the Machine and Foals. Along with chart topping Lewis Capaldi, Mabel, Dizzee Rascal, Razorlight, Jorja Smith, The Wombats, Rudimental and Plan B.
Zennor Haven is where you can find workshops and classes for your time at the festival. Try your hand at beach yoga, learn to play the ukulele, take part in a mindfulness workshop or learn how to do a hand stand like a pro..
The festival first started as a surf competition in 1981, and with Newquay being home to some of the UK's best waves, the tradition has carried on to 2019. You can find all surf events happening over on Fistral beach.
A shuttle will be running from Watergate Bay to Fistral, so those visiting the main festival, can head over from the campsite to take part in everything going on.
Everyone is welcome to watch the pro's battle it out to win the Boardmasters trophy and to soak up the good vibes. All competitions are free for spectators to watch.
