From 11 - 15 August, along the cliff path from Watergate Bay, you'll find the UK's biggest surf and music festival.
Boardmasters is back for 2021 and bigger than ever. Please find more details online at www.boardmasters.com
Back for the first time since 2018, this year a full to the brim line-up of acts has been announced for the four day festival. Overlooking Watergate Bay beach, you'll be able to find headliners; Foals, Gorillaz and Jorja Smith. Along with Sam Fender, The Kooks, Jamie XX, Lianne La Havas, Zero, Blossoms, Slowthai and Jade Bird.
Fistral Beach is where the Boardmasters open surf competition takes place, complete with pro surf, skate and BMX competitions, art installations, workshops, gigs and a pop-up surf village.
The festival first started as a surf competition in 1981, and with Newquay being home to some of the UK's best waves, the tradition has carried on to 2021. You can find all surf events happening over on Fistral beach.
A shuttle will be running from Watergate Bay to Fistral, so those visiting the main festival, can head over from the campsite to take part in everything going on.
Everyone is welcome to watch the pro's battle it out to win the Boardmasters trophy and to soak up the good vibes. All competitions are free for spectators to watch.
