We love the conversations that our posts spark up. So when @searlekat got in touch on Twitter to ask if we make any exciting cocktails with tea, we saw it as a challenge. So just for you Katherine, our head cocktail man at Zacry’s introduces the English Breakfast Martini. Let us know what you think.
30ml London dry gin (Sipsmith’s)
30ml Elderflower liqueur (Chase)
30ml cold breakfast tea
15ml lemon juice
Put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake for about 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Squeeze a twist of orange over the top, making sure to extract the oil, to give the a beautiful marmalade bouquet.
