If your positive attitude is as hot as your skills in the kitchen, we’re looking for apprentices like you. Join our open day on 7 September 8.30am-4pm and find out more.
If you’re looking to kick-start your career in the kitchen then Watergate Bay could be the place to do it. As part of an exciting partnership with Truro and Penwith College, three successful candidates will become apprentices at Watergate Bay Hotel this September and join the team working under executive chef Neil Haydock.
Budding chefs can get a flavour of what the catering industry is all about at our open day being held on 7 September (noon to 4pm) at the hotel, where you can meet the team, tour the facilities and get help with applications.
They will also become part of the Watergate Bay Academy designed to develop employees’ skills and make a positive impact on their future.
The open day will also involve a fun and friendly tasting session to demonstrate each candidate’s passion for food and the industry. There’ll also be the chance to learn to surf with the hotel’s surf school the Extreme Academy.
Neil says: “This is a great opportunity to join the team here at Watergate Bay. We are dedicated to providing training and growth through our Watergate Bay Academy to all staff, helping them shape a career in this exciting ever evolving environment on one of the UK’s best beaches.”
Emma Neave, HR Manager says: “When we recruit we look for personality and a positive attitude as much as skills and experience.”
