The Margarita is one of the most popular tequila based cocktails often mixed with triple sec and lime or lemon juice. However, in The Beach Hut we’ve added our own twist inspired by the beach of Watergate Bay. Using Cointreau, lemon, lime, orange and grapefruit juice we’ve infused the classic margarita with the taste of summer.
It’s light, refreshing and exactly what you want on a hot summer’s day in the bay.
1/4 lemon juiced
1/2 lime juiced
30ml grapefruit juice
30ml orange juice
Put all the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake until combined and chilled.
Use some of the lime juice to wet the rim of the lass and then run the rim through the sea salt to frost.
Put a few cubes of ice in the glass and strain the cocktail mixture over them.
Garnish wish a slice of lime and enjoy!
