Have you been confronted by some rather dubious facial hair around the Bay recently? Fret not. It’s all in the name of charity.
For the past 11 years, November has become synonymous with Movember – an organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health.
For one month only, millions of men around the globe ditch the razor and inflict their moustaches on the general public in the aim of drawing awareness, saving and improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems. The organisation has raised more than £346 million to date and funded over 800 programmes in 21 countries.
This year, three willing volunteers from Watergate Bay Hotel have stepped up to the challenge and with one week remaining, they need your help raising as much as possible for a great cause.
Rick Dew aka ‘The Yard Brush’, The Beach Hut.
Kevin Orchard aka ‘The Bronson’, HR.
Sam Trethewey aka ‘Mo-tisha’, The Beach Hut.
The boys are truly grateful for any donations received. If you’d like to donate, you’ll find a fundraising box in the Beach Hut or visit http://moteam.co/watergate-bay-hotel-mo-bro-s to donate online.
A huge thank you from the boys and the whole Watergate Bay team.
