Cornish Arancello from Atlantic Distillery, cranberry juice and champagne make up this poinsettia recipe. Ruby red in colour, it's named after the festive poinsettia flower.
Our take on a poinsettia cocktail uses limes and a dash of sugar, shaken with arancello and cranberry juice, topped with champagne and a twist of lime peel to serve.
25ml Cornish Arancello
35ml Cranberry juice
1/2 juice of a lime
10ml Gomme/sugar syrup
Champagne (we use Laurent Perrier)
Cocktail shaker
Served in a martini glass
We would struggle to get more local than the Atlantic Distillery. It's located just a couple of miles away from Watergate Bay on a farm in Newquay. On their smallholding, the team grow fruit and fresh herbs which will often inspire the next small batch bottle of flavoured gin and liqueurs.
