Red berry and oat smoothie #GetfitWGB

This smoothie is a hit in Zacry’s during breakfast. It’s a healthier alternative to some other breakfasts you may make, plus the oats make it a thicker, more filling option with added fiber and protein too.



Serves two


450g frozen fruits of the forest berries
200ml semi skimmed milk
200ml apple juice
35g jumbo oats

To garnish:
A sprinkle of oats, fresh fruit or mint.


It’s as easy as sticking everything in the blender and enjoying, perhaps alongside as Cornish bacon sandwich!

Top tip!

Smoothies are a great way to get kids to eat more of their five-a-day every now and then. Plus, the garnishes can fool kids into thinking this is an exotic cocktail!
