Whether it’s your first time, or you’re looking for a refresher, the Extreme Academy’s experienced surf coaches will give you everything you need to get in the water. After, they’ll show you to the hot showers and changing rooms just off the beach, then The Beach Hut for an Extreme Hot Chocolate.

Get your skates on at the Eden Project this Christmas half term. Visit Father Christmas and his elves to enjoy a magical after-dark Christmas experience, all new for 2018, with giant projections, playful light sculptures and live music.

Truro – City of Lights parade and Christmas market

Wednesday 21 November
The City of Lights procession includes music, dance, lanterns made by schools and community groups, and of course, the giant artist made lanterns. Alongside the visual spectacle, City of Lights is a feast of music and dance including samba, brass bands and pipes & drums with market stalls nearby for quirky handmade Christmas gifts and tasty food. The Truro City late night shopping commences every Wednesday from 28 November and here you’ll find more market stalls, sweets and treats and things to do.

Mousehole Harbour Lights

Mousehole – Christmas lights

Saturday 15 December to Friday 4 January
A sea monster, ships sailing into the harbour and of course the big Mousehole cat. All of these can be found lit up in Mousehole harbour. Enjoy a mulled wine and festive food as you stroll through the little fishing village that comes alive at Christmas.

Bodmin Railway – Santa by Steam

1 December to 24 December
Take a journey with Bodmin and Wenford railway to visit Santa’s grotto. Enjoy mince pies, seasonal drinks and carols on the platform, before climbing aboard for an hour-long return journey on a beautiful steam-hauled train. During the trip, you’ll visit Santa, with plenty of time for a photo, and gifts for each child.

Following its past sell-out productions, Miracle Theatre is delighted to be back at Princess Pavilion Falmouth with a new and not to be missed Christmas show suitable for all. Every Christmas for the last fifty years the Willoughby-Brown family have gathered at their country seat in Cornwall to eat, drink, laugh and bicker and, with the help of their loyal staff, to provide their own entertainment in the form of a home-made pantomime. This year, they share their unique interpretation of the oriental fairy-tale Aladdin.

Bring the children for a family experience with Father Christmas, entertaining a gathering with his latest tale. Reindeer fly in for a festive visit in our stable yard this Christmas. Learn how to make a reindeer from green wood with the rangers and enjoy a delicious two course Christmas dinner in the Barn restaurant.

Padstow Festival Fireworks

Padstow – Padstow Christmas Festival

Saturday 6 December to Tuesday 9 December
Drawing large crowds, Padstow’s Christmas Festival takes place from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 December featuring 110 food artisans and producers, plus demos from award-winning chefs. Expect fireworks, live music, carol concerts and a great lantern parade.

Watergate Bay Hotel – Kid’s Zone

Kids’ Zone is open every day with supervised sessions every morning and evening. Children can play in our new outdoor play space or get crafty with winter-themed arty activities throughout the day. As always, Kids’ Zone will have lots of games to play and new friends to make.
