We are delighted to have won the Best Foodie Hotel Award at the 2013 Food Magazine Reader Awards! We were up against some stiff competition as well as some Michelin starred chefs including Michael Caines, Gidleigh Park, The Magdalen Chapter in Exeter, Combe House in Honiton and Driftwood Hotel with Chris Eden, in Porthscatho, and the fact that the award was nominated by the public makes it even more special!
We joined a host of restaurateurs, chefs, and local food producers at the Food Magazine 10th Birthday reception in the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter on Monday evening to celebrate our win while Neil Haydock accepted the prize.
Congratulations to all the winners and runners up and thank you to everyone who voted for the Food Magazine Reader Awards, especially those who voted for us!
