Here’s a little taster of what you could enjoy:
Lunch at The Beach Hut
One of Cornwall’s best beach-side hang-outs, you’ll find The Beach Hut as close as it gets to Watergate Bay’s golden sands. Food wise, we’ll be tucking into The Beach Hut’s twist on moules marinieres. Their Sri Lankan mussels cooked in coconut milk, tomato and south Indian spices are to die for and equally as great as a starter or a main portion with skinny fires.
Kick back in the hotel’s secluded sanctuary that is, Swim Club. The 25-metre ocean-view infinity pool is the main star here, but there is also a café-bar, cardio room, outdoor Canadian hot tub, treatment rooms. The photo speaks for itself.
Dinner at Zacry’s
Zacry’s is Watergate Bay’s latest edition for fine eating, combining local inspiration with international influences, plus executive chef Neil Haydock’s passion for contemporary American cuisine. Our dish of the moment? Cornish scallops, black pudding, sweetcorn puree and toasted hazelnut dressing.
Staying at the hotel
Look for cosy, secluded corners tucked within busy, wide-open places. There’s something for everyone and every mood.
Dinner at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall
This is one tasty social enterprise. Dinner at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall fuses together Italian inspired fare and exceptional apprentices starting on their culinary careers. After our fish dishes before, it’s carne miste with polenta and cavolo nero.
