Winter warmers at The Beach Hut


Our Beach Hut Winter Warmers are marching out from the bar, they’re so popular. But then again, there’s nothing better to warm your cockles after a chilly beach walk than a warm, slightly alcoholic cup of something!

Here’s how you can make your own winter warmers at home…
(From left to right)

The Ultimate G&T
– 25ml Bombay Sapphire
– 15ml Elderflower cordial
– Juice of half a lime
– Btl tonic
Add all ingredients to a tall glass, fill with ice and stir thoroughly. Garnish with two slices of lime.

Winter Fizz
The decadent winter warmer.
– 80ml Prosecco
– 15ml Cointreau
– 30ml Cranberry juice
Add all the ingredients to a Champagne glass and garnish with orange peel.

Lemon Cheesecake
Lemon cheesecake in a glass.
– 25ml Limoncello
– 25ml Absolute citron vodka
– 25ml lemon juice
– Ginger biscuit crumb
Shake limoncello, vodka and lemon juice over ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with ginger biscuit crumb.

Hot Toddy
This is the perfect way to warm up after a winter beach walk. This is guaranteed to leave you nice and toasty, and also makes an ideal cold remedy.
– 50ml Glenmorangie
– 1 teaspoon of clear honey
– Juice of half a lemon
– Dash of gomme
– Boiling water
– Cinnamon stick
Add all ingredients to a glass mug and stir thoroughly. Garnish with a slice of lemon and cinnamon stick.

Spiced Apple Warmer (Hot)
Our festive take on an old favourite.
– 50ml Doorleys Rum
– 70ml Cranberry juice
– 50ml Apple juice
Add all ingredients to a pan and heat. Pour into a glass and serve with a wheel of orange.

And an extra special:

Extreme Alexander
Packing an ‘extreme’ twist on the brandy classic and Extreme Hot Chocolate, loved by many and for some, the highlight of their trip to Watergate Bay.
– 35ml Hennessey brandy
– 35ml double cream
– 25ml milk
– Scoop of chocolate powder
– Whippped cream
– Marshmallows
– Chocolate jazzies
Shake brandy, cream and milk and chocolate powder over ice. Pour this into your mug or glass and top up with as much whipped cream as you like! Garnish with marshmallows and chocolate jazzies.
