Everyone has their own way of celebrating Christmas. Our team in Zacry’s are doing it in style, with a spread of yuletide cocktails. Read on to find out how you can spice up your Christmas drinks.
Mince Pie Manhattan
50ml Woodford Reserve bourbon infused with veg mincemeat
25ml Antica sweet vermouth
Dash angostura bitters
Stir all ingredients in boston until mixed and chilled.
Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with orange twist / cloves
50ml Mount Gay XO rum
25ml Freshly squeezed lime juice
5ml Sugar syrop
Topped with Cornish Orchards cloudy Lemonade
Rim glass with coconut.
Build cocktail into highball over ice.
Thyme of the Year
50ml Thyme infused Vodka
30ml lemon cordial
15ml pasteurised egg white
Dash grapefruit bitters
Shake vodka and lemon cordial over ice.
Add egg white and shake with no ice until foamy.
Serve over ice. Add dash of grapefruit bitters
Garnish with Thyme
60ml VSOP cognac
15ml ginger liqueur
15ml fresh lime juice
7.5ml sugar syrup
1 dash Peychaud’s bitters
Shake all ingredients over ice.
Strain and serve into chilled cocktail glass.
Cinnamon sloe Gin Negroni
25ml sloe gin
25ml antica formula vermouth
Build and stir…
Add all to glass over ice, stir until chilled.
Garnish wedge blood orange.
Christmas pudding cocktail
25ml Grand Marnier
Bar spoon mulled wine syrup
Topped with ginger beer.
Shake Calvodos and Grand Marnier and syrup over ice.
Strain and serve over ice in rocks glass.
Top with ginger beer.
Garnish with dried orange ring and cinnamon stick.
