Travel information

From July 2015 there will be road improvements taking place to dual the A30 through Bodmin Moor (Temple to Higher Carblake) and maintain the Tamar Bridge in Plymouth. While this essential work is undergoing inevitably there will be travel disruption including delays and road closures. To minimise the impact to your holiday we would recommend leaving extra time to travel to Watergate Bay. Alternatively, consider travelling by rail.

Times to avoid this section of the A30 in the summer months if possible:
Westbound: Saturdays 9am – 4pm
Eastbound: Fridays & Saturdays 10am – 6pm
