Staying just a few steps from the beach and Extreme Academy, you’ll also be a prime spot for trying surfing, hand-planing or stand-up paddle boarding if you want to get some different perspectives on time in (and on) the water.
Run by experienced swim coach Salim Ahmed, this personalised break has been developed over more than 20 years as a professional coach. Salim’s custom six-point programme sets out to help you understand why he believes swimming is the best sport for body, mind and life.

Experienced swim coach Salim Ahmed shares an insight into the benefits of a swim break; “For me, swimming is as much an art as a science,” he says. “It’s one of the only sports you can continue to improve at throughout your life, from age nine through to ninety. The swim break is designed to help people connect with the water, to swim longer, further and faster, and most importantly of all, to fall in love with swimming again.”
Salim’s programme uses the same theory and methodology used by some of the world’s top swimmers. You’ll learn how to swim strongly, efficiently and confidently in all types of water, opening the door onto a whole world of wild swimming and travel.
Geared mainly around front crawl, the break is tailored to each individual and is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Every swim break includes swim and theory sessions, swim yoga, open-water swimming, video analytics and coastal walking.
