Watergate Bay Hotel has gone from strength-to strength and the plans we have for our new restaurant form the next exciting steps in our evolution. We are now busy recruiting a team at all levels, from assistant manager to part-time positions, to help us create an exceptional guest experience.

Successful applicants will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work hard and keep smiling on even the busiest days. You will need to be a strong team player, with bags of enthusiasm and personality. Previous bar and/or waiting experience is also desirable.

Assistant Manager – Zacry’s

This role is to assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day to day running of Zacry’s restaurant. You will also be required to manage the restaurant in the manager’s absence.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and experience of successfully running a strong floor team. You must be comfortable supervising and developing a large team in order to build on our already high standards. Successful candidates must have experience in a similar role with the confidence and ability to assist with rota planning, and to exceed guest expectations.

Attention to detail is imperative, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure. You must also be flexible, a team player, well presented, and an excellent communicator.

Guest Relations Manager (9 month Maternity cover contract)

We are looking for an outgoing and professional Guest Relations Manager to join the front of house team on a fixed term 9 month contract. Reporting to the Front of House Manager, your prime role will be to deliver the highest standards of customer service at all times, being the main point of contact for our guests, overseeing and assisting in the smooth running of the hotel.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure. If you are a real all-rounder with knowledge in all areas of the hospitality industry, gained from working in a similar environment, then we want to hear from you.

Good IT skills are expected, with previous working knowledge of Microsoft Office essential. Experience of using Hotel Perfect would also be an advantage. Previous employment in a front facing customer service environment is essential.
