We are looking for babysitters from 15th December to the 5th January, with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of bank staff for the right candidate.
Our babysitters are insured to work between 6pm-2am each evening, no babysitter will work outside of these times. The length of each babysit is determined solely by the parents/guardians.
We are looking for someone with previous experience of working with children, and of delivering childcare and play opportunities. Successful candidates must also possess (or be working towards) a relevant NVQ L3 (or equivalent) in early years and childcare. It is also a requirement to possess a paediatric first aid qualification. Knowledge of relevant legislation is imperative, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure. You must also be flexible, a team player, well presented, and an excellent communicator.
What you would be doing on a weekly basis
To deliver high quality supervision and for children.
Developing good working relationships with parents/carers and other professionals.
Planning and organisation of all activities and resources.
Ensuring the safety and security of children at all times, updating risk assessments as necessary.
Assisting with the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of practices.
Helping to serve Kids Tea and ensuring that all individual needs are met within the health and hygiene guidance.
Handling guest complaints, requests and enquiries in a relaxed yet professional manner.
Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
To have a recognised and relevant NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent or above in early years and childcare or babysitting certificate
Willing to obtain a Paediatric 1st Aid, Basic Food Hygiene and child protection course.
An Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required
Proven experience of delivery of childcare and play opportunities
Applicants must be able to work on at least two of the following dates: 30th December, 31st December, 1st January
Applicants will be available to work on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day
