Chef de Partie
We have a fantastic opportunity for a chef de partie to join the team at Watergate Bay.
We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time chef de partie, to assist the head chef in the smooth running of the kitchen.
The successful candidate will help to ensure the beach hut continues to provide an exceptional guest experience. You must also be passionate about food with previous experience of working within a similarly high quality environment. What you would be doing on a weekly basis
Assisting the head chef in the effective and efficient organisation, supervision and control of the kitchen operation.
Preparing, cooking and portioning of all dishes to the hotel’s standards of quality and quantity.
Maintaining the hotel’s standards of personal appearance, cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen areas.
To communicate, liaise and maintain working relationships with the restaurant manager, waiting staff and the rest of the kitchen team.
Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
Essential / Preferred experience
Worked in a similar role
NVQ level 1& 2 or equivalent
Food Hygiene certificate/training
Good team player
Interest and passion for the food industry
Good communication skills
