Chef de Partie – Zacry’s
We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Chef de Partie, to assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of Zacry’s kitchen.
The successful candidate will help to ensure Zacry’s continues to provide an exceptional guest experience. You must also be passionate about food with previous experience of working within a similarly high quality environment. Named after the square, rocky outcrop that lies out to sea between Watergate Bay and Whipsiderry, comes Zacry’s – the restaurant at Watergate Bay Hotel. The interior style blends Cornish attitude with the features of a classic brasserie, while the food draws on international influences, local inspiration and executive chef Neil Haydock’s passion for contemporary American cuisine.
What you would be doing on a weekly basis
Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the effective and efficient organisation, supervision and control of the kitchen operation.
Preparing, cooking and portioning of all dishes to the Hotel’s standards of quality and quantity.
Maintaining the Hotel’s standards of personal appearance, cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen areas.
To communicate, liaise and maintain working relationships with the restaurant manager, waiting staff and the rest of the kitchen team.
Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
