Front Desk Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Front desk manager to join the team at Watergate Bay Hotel.
We are currently looking for a full-time team member of staff, on a permanent contract. Reporting to the Hotel operations manager, your prime function will be to deliver the highest standards of customer service at all times. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will bring plenty of industry experience and strong leadership skills to the role and your warm and professional personality will fit perfectly with our culture of “relaxed professionalism”. Previous experience in a front facing customer service environment is essential.

What you would be doing on a weekly basis
Manage the front desk team & guest relations managers (GRM)
Ensure a positive guest experience
Carry out front of house recruitment, training, appraisal and performance management
Ensure that the front desk team & GRM’s comply with the standard operating procedures
Ensure that the front desk team & GRM’s have the required knowledge of the hotel and provide ongoing training
Ensure that the end of day procedures are completed in accordance with the standard operating procedures
To act in accordance with health, safety & licencing laws.
To act in accordance with the fire & evacuation safety procedures
To represent the brand at all times
Stationery ordering
Medical supply ordering
Day to day car park management
Essential experience
Experience within a supervisory or managerial role
A sound knowledge of the PMS systems
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office, word, excel & outlook
Previous front of house experience in a similar establishment
Desirable experience
First aid qualification is preferred
Current Enhanced DBS is preferred
Personal licence holder is preferred
