Chef de Partie – The Living Space
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join the team at The Living Space, Watergate Bay.
A wide open yet cosy place, The Living Space is a lot like the beach it overlooks. The restaurant draws on the time of year, combining flavours that are Cornish, traditional British and European. The bar serves coffees, cocktails and cream teas.
We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Chef de Partie, to assist the head chef in the smooth running of The Living Space kitchen. The successful candidate will help to ensure The Living Space continues to provide an exceptional guest experience. You must also be passionate about food with previous experience of working within a similarly high quality environment.

What you would be doing on a weekly basis
Assisting the head chef in the effective and efficient organisation, supervision and control of the kitchen operation.
Preparing, cooking and portioning of all dishes to the Hotel’s standards of quality and quantity.
Maintaining the Hotel’s standards of personal appearance, cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen areas.
To communicate, liaise and maintain working relationships with the restaurant manager, waiting staff and the rest of the kitchen team.
Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
