Night guest relations manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for a night guest relations manager to join the team at Watergate Bay Hotel.
Reporting to the front of house manager, the primary responsibility of the night guest relations manager is to be responsible for the operation of the hotel during the night, whist running night audit and providing friendly and efficient reception service.
What you would be doing on a weekly basis
To oversee and assist in the smooth running of all guest related issues and to have a physical presence at the front desk until all guests have returned to their rooms.
Ensure night audit is run accurately and in line with SOP’s.
To prepare the arrival cards and charge cards for the following days arrivals.
Carry out regular floor checks.
To prepare and deliver any room service orders.
To oversee the night cleaner and ensure all areas are being cleaned to the required standard.
To ensure the internal security of the building. I.e. External doors are locked and secure, CCTV is monitored regularly.
To be responsible for the cleanliness of the reception area, and the cleaning and maintenance of the open fires.
Advise senior management of any major incident as per emergency contact sheet
To enforce and comply with all company policies and procedures which are fundamental in maintaining effective performance, communication and good business reputation.
To provide a detailed handover to the early GRM, including any guest related or maintenance issues.
To support the management team with any relevant administration tasks as required.
What you offer
Experience within a similar role
A sound knowledge of a hotel integrated PMS system
Good knowledge of Microsoft office, word, excel & outlook
Previous front of house experience is essential
First Aid qualification is preferred
Current Enhanced CRB check is preferred
Fire warden experience is preferred
