We have a fantastic opportunity for a reservations supervisor to join the team at Watergate Bay Hotel.
We are currently looking for a full-time team member of staff, on a permanent contract. Reporting to the Reservations Team Manager, your prime function will be the main point of contact for reservationists, maximising revenue and being a key member of the reservations team. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. It is important to be a strong team player, with bags of enthusiasm and positivity. Previous experience in a similar role is essential as is experience of working with reservations software.

What you would be doing on a weekly basis:
To answer all incoming calls in a timely, efficient & professional manner.
To be responsible for bookings, by telephone, email or live chat and to ensure bookings are maximised within the parameters of the system and the availability of the therapists, when booking treatments etc.
To be able to make decisions on applying discounts and cancellations.
Handling complaints when they require to be escalated.
To have a detailed working knowledge and understanding of Watergate Bay Hotel, Another Place and the various restaurants and their parameters.
To have a detailed knowledge of our brand, guest experience and tone of voice
Assist Team Manager with checking future reservations, reporting and yielding rates
To be fully conversant in the use of all of our booking systems including PMS and table reservation systems.
To assist with hotel room reservation bookings on a daily basis.
To comply with general guidelines and health & safety guidelines set out.
To comply with equal opportunity guidelines set out.
Liaise with Marketing ref Special Offers, Journalist stays and prize and competition winners.
To help manage OTA bookings and checks
