A taste of Sri Lanka - Friday 1 February 2019

Friday 1 February - 7pm

Travel cookbook writer and chef, Jon Lewin, and Neil Haydock, our executive chef, will be cooking up a tasting menu to celebrate the diverse cuisine of Sri Lanka. Inspired by Jon’s book ‘The Locals' Kitchen: Sri Lanka’ the evening will feature authentic local recipes originated from different aspects of the culture. Dishes will include a rich coconut, chilli and lemongrass infused soup, Sri Lankan thali plate with a selection of curries served with dhal, coconut chilli sambol, charred pineapple salsa, rice and poppadoms, and for dessert a deep-fried caramelised coconut ball served with Cornish clotted cream and fresh lime. With banquette seating, a beach bonfire and live music.

A vegetarian option is available, please let us know on booking.
