Surfaced Pro surf competition

The Surfaced Pro surf competition is one of the first competition to champion the cause for gender equality in sports with both male and female participants receiving equal prize winnings – unprecedented in most sports, including surfing. Due to take place on 7 & 8 September 2019, this event has unfortunately been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances.

Standing at 15ft tall, the giant Warrior of the Surf is the latest addition to the Bay. Created by local sculptor Richard Austin, the Warrior, inspired by the ocean and it's surfers, will watch over the waves at Watergate Bay for many years to come. #warriorofthesurf
