Accessibility
Our aim is to make Watergate Bay Hotel as accessible as possible for all of our guests.

Hotel
We have two lifts giving access to all public areas of the hotel. There are two accessible car parking bays in the front of the hotel. A sloping boardwalk links the entrance of the hotel to Sea Lane and the beach.
Our staff have undertaken training to improve their knowledge and understanding of accessibility and other issues including allergies.

Bedrooms
We have two bedrooms which have been adapted to be more accessible and have fully accessible bathrooms. One is a family suite.
A shower chair and grab rails can be provided on request. Equipment can be hired from Mobility Hire Cornwall.
Beach lofts
The beach lofts are accessible by a long external flight of stairs. We were unable to install a lift due to the cliffside location.

Swim Club
The swimming pool has a shallow end with steps for easy entry. There is a wheelchair lift alongside the stairs in the ocean room but we do not have pool hoist.

Restaurants
All our restaurants are accessible by slope, ramp or lift where required. They all have accessible toilets.

Beach
The beach is fully accessible to wheelchair users via a slope.

Sand wheelchair
During spring and summer we have a Natural Access sand wheelchair which is available for use. This is bookable through Wavehunters at the Extreme Academy.

Parking
We have allocated disabled car parking at the rear of the hotel.
If you have any questions regarding accessibility in any areas of Watergate Bay, please talk to our reservations team at the time of booking, or call us on 01637 860543.
