TERMS & CONDITIONS – Watergate Bay Hotel x Seasalt

This competition runs from 10 May 2024 and closes at midnight on 19 July 2024. Entries received after this time are automatically disqualified. The winner must reside in England, Scotland or Wales only and only one entry is permitted per person. 

By entering the competition, you confirm you have the legal capacity to do so and agree to these terms and conditions. There is no entry fee and no purchase required. The competition is open to people aged 18 or over, except employees of Seasalt Cornwall and Watergate Bay Hotel or anyone professionally associated with this promotion, or their immediate family members.  The winner must consent to present proof of age on being informed of their win.

The winner will be chosen at random by the team at Watergate Bay Hotel and will be contacted within three days after the closing date, via the email address they have provided. The winner must confirm acceptance within 7 days of the date and time of the email informing them of their win. Should they not accept in time their claim will become invalid, and a new winner will be selected at random. 

The prizes are as stated on the competition webpage and are subject to availability. 2-night hotel stay is to be redeemed by June 2025.

The prize is subject to availability and excludes school holidays.

Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash or credit alternatives are available. If, due to circumstances beyond their control, Seasalt Cornwall and Watergate Bay Hotel are unable to provide the stated prize(s), they reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. Watergate Bay Hotel’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

Watergate Bay Hotel reserves the right to cancel or suspend the competition where necessary. Watergate Bay Hotel and Seasalt Cornwall reserve the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition.  Insofar as it is permitted by law, Seasalt Cornwall will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for loss, damage, personal injury, or death arising from your taking up the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of Seasalt Cornwall or its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Winners agree to the use of their name for promotional purposes. Seasalt Cornwall must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Seasalt Cornwall will disclose the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails contactus@seasaltcornwall.co.uk within one month after the closing date of the competition.

If you object to the sharing of any or all of your surname and county, please contact Seasalt Cornwall. In such circumstances, Seasalt Cornwall must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

Seasalt Cornwall will only process your personal information given on entry to this competition as set out in our Privacy Policy unless you also sign up to receive more information and material from Watergate Bay Hotel. In this case, your personal information will be securely shared with Watergate Bay Hotel.

This competition is governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
