Surf lessons
Wavehunters are the only surf school on the beach at Watergate Bay, just metres from the hotel entrance. Surf lessons and equipment hire are available all year round.
Choose from daily surf and stand-up paddleboard lessons, sunrise and sunset surfs, yoga and outdoor fitness classes on the beach.
Wavehunters are a WiSe accredited surf school and accredited as a 'Centre of Excellence' by Surfing England.

Lessons
Group lessons with a maximum of 8 people, or private lessons for you and your group. Wetsuit hire, boots and board included. Meet your instructor just moments away from the water's edge.
Beginner lessons, learn how to pop up to your feet, available for ages 7 years and older.
Private lessons for the whole family, or one on one tuition.
Children's lessons go out at 11.30am. Available for those up to 16 years
Two-hour group lessons are £45
Family bodyboarding
Join the Wavehunters crew for a group body boarding session. Included as part of your stay for all hotel guests.
Every Wednesday and Sunday at 3.30pm this summer
Wetsuits and boards included.
Surf hire
Brand new high-quality wetsuits and boards are refreshed every year. Hire hard and foam surfboards, bodyboards, wetsuits, boots, gloves and even hoods are available all year round. Hire for just the day or keep yours for the entire week.

Improver course
A three day surf course aimed at those who have got the basics, but want to improve. Includes video analysis, and workshops. exercises, kit hire and an experienced instructor to guide you through the course.
Boat tours and safaris
Sightseeing boat trips and wildlife safaris for 1-2 hours. Or, charter the boat for your own private group. Boat tours leave from Padstow harbour throughout the year.

Private sessions can be booked for those who are younger when parents or guardians are present on the lesson.
