Chai white Russian recipe
White Russians are traditionally made with vodka and coffee-flavoured liqueur, mixed with heavy cream. Our twist includes a warming mix of winter spices for the colder months ahead, all thanks to the Chai syrup, hints of coconut and a genuine fully Cornish vodka.
Ingredients
- 25ml Kahlua
- 25ml Chai syrup
- 35ml Aval Dor Cornish vodka
- 50ml Coconut cream
- 50ml Oat milk

Method
- Add Kahlua and chai syrup into a rocks glass and top with cubed ice.
- Add vodka, coconut cream, and oat milk into a shaker and shake.
- Slowly pour over ice so the two colours are separated.
- Garnish with ground cinnamon.
Chai Syrup
If you haven't got Chai syrup to hand, you could make your own.
Mix 5 cups of water, 10 teaspoons of black tea leaves/black teabags and your choice of spices (vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom pods, star anise and nutmeg work well). Bring all ingredients to the boil and then simmer for 30 minutes. Strain through a sieve and into a bottle.
